Important Notes
Read before you arrive — these keep everyone safe and the venue happy.
- Life vests required for all children kayaking. No swimming in the lake.
- Pool is swim-at-your-own-risk — no lifeguards on duty. Fathers must watch their children.
- Keep your tribe areas clean and tidy throughout the weekend.
- Firewood is provided. Keep fires sensible — no trash or debris in the fires.
- Do not leave fires or hot ashes unattended on the ground.
- Cabins must be swept out before you leave Sunday.
- No golf carts.
- No exposed alcohol — please use tumblers or cups.
- E-bikes & scooters are allowed; excessive speed or dangerous riding will result in confiscation for the rest of the weekend.
🔥 Late Night Cook-Off Rules
Friday night, 11 PM — bring your A-game.
1. Teams & Participation
- All 7 tribes compete as teams.
- Each tribe prepares one food portion of their choice (savory, sweet, snack, entrée).
- Dish must be suitable for late-night sampling and easy to serve in portions.
2. Portions & Serving
- Provide 160 portions of your dish, consistent in size.
- Tribes are responsible for serving their own dish — utensils, napkins, equipment.
- Clearly label common allergens (nuts, dairy, gluten, shellfish).
3. Tasting & Voting
- Each tribe votes for their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Favorite.
- You may NOT vote for your own tribe — self-votes are disqualified.
- Vote based on overall impression: taste, creativity, execution.
4. Scoring
- 1st Favorite — 3 points
- 2nd Favorite — 2 points
- 3rd Favorite — 1 point
- Highest total points wins the cook-off.
5. Tiebreakers
- Most 1st-place votes wins.
- If still tied, a designated judge or host selects the winner.
🏆 Winner Recognition
- Winning tribe receives bragging rights and an annual ceremonial plaque at the fire walk.

1. Car Assembly & Decoration
- All cars must be fully assembled and decorated on-site at the event.
- Cars may be decorated in an Indian-like style.
2. Approved Materials
- Only official kits and parts provided by Teton Nation may be used.
- No additional or substitute parts.
3. New Cars Only
- All cars must be newly built for this event — re-use is strictly prohibited.
4. Performance Trophy Specs
- Built from approved Pinewood Derby kits.
- Maximum weight: 5.5 ounces — official scales are final and binding.
- No test runs on the track prior to racing.
5. "Indian Like" Design Criteria
- Decorations must include craft supplies provided by the Nation.
- Plus natural materials found at the event site (rocks, sticks, leaves, flowers).
- Judging is conducted by Nation Officers — decisions are final.
6. Weigh-In & Handling
- All detailing and lubrication must be completed BEFORE weigh-in.
- Once weighed and accepted, participants may not touch their car again.
- Cars are placed in a designated holding area — no further adjustments.
- Cars failing rule compliance or repeatedly failing to run may be disqualified.
- Only Host Tribe members handle cars during the event.
- Spectators must remain outside the taped area and clear of the track.
7. Rule Enforcement
- Disputes are resolved by Host Tribe inspection → recommendation to ranking Nation Officer onsite.
- Final ruling rests with the ranking Nation Officer onsite — all decisions are binding.

🏠 Facility Use Policies & Guidelines
Welcome to our camp! Please read and follow these policies carefully. Treat this place as your own home and help us maintain a respectful and harmonious atmosphere.
1. Respect for Property
- Do not scratch, draw on, or damage the walls or bunk beds inside the cabins.
- Causing any intentional damage to windows, doors, or other camp property is strictly prohibited.
- Any vandalism or deliberate harm to the facilities may result in penalties or removal from the camp.
2. Safety Equipment
- Fire extinguishers are to be used only in case of real emergencies.
- Do not touch, move, or discharge fire extinguishers unnecessarily. Misuse of safety equipment can put others at risk.
3. Restroom & Plumbing Rules
- Do not throw paper, wipes, or any foreign objects into the toilets.
- Avoid excessive use of toilet paper that could cause blockages.
- Keep restroom areas clean and report any maintenance issues to camp staff immediately.
- Our plumbing is connected to a septic tank — it is extremely important to handle the toilets with special care. Any non-natural waste disposed of in the toilets can clog the entire camp's plumbing system.
4. Environmental Care & Community Values
🚫 We Are a Drug-Free Camp
- The use or possession of drugs, alcohol, or any illegal substances is strictly forbidden.
Note regarding alcohol: The use of alcohol for private events is permitted only for adults of legal drinking age and under the strict control and sole responsibility of the event organizers. The facility remains completely uninvolved in its use. The use or possession of drugs or any illegal substances is strictly prohibited at all times.
🌿 We Respect and Care for Nature
- Protect the natural surroundings — do not harm plants, trees, or wildlife.
- Save water and electricity whenever possible, and leave no trace of waste behind.
🏕️ We Love Our Home
- This camp is our shared home. Please treat all spaces, cabins, and common areas with love, respect, and gratitude.
- Keep your area tidy and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
🗑️ We Do Not Throw Garbage Outside the Bins
- Dispose of all trash and recyclables properly.
- Always use the designated garbage bins to keep our camp clean and beautiful.
🚧 Restricted Areas
- Some areas of the camp are for authorized personnel only.
- Please respect signs indicating Restricted Access and do not enter those zones for your safety.

If you need anything or would like to adjust the air conditioning (AC), please contact the manager or event host. They will gladly assist you with any requests or concerns you may have.
