When on, each tier (e.g. 1st Place) can only be claimed once per event. Participation tiers are always unlimited.
📋 This is the Quarterly Roster activity
Only ever check this on ONE activity. Its tier labels must each contain "Q1".."Q4" somewhere (e.g. "Q1 Roster") — that's how the system knows which quarter a submission is for. See the Season Configuration tab for the quarter calendar.

🏆 Award column: check it for placement tiers (1st/2nd/3rd Place, Champion) — every submission for a checked tier also creates a public Awards entry (shows on Awards.html, Tribes.html, Chief Portal Awards). Leave it UNCHECKED for participation / attendance tiers — those earn points but aren't awards. Only NEW submissions are affected when you change a checkbox.
