These officer cards on the public Leadership page are generated automatically from registered users who have a nation office checked in User Manager. To change one — or its Indian Name / Photo / Bio — edit that user in User Manager. They are not editable here.

Manage the nation’s leadership roster. Use Sort Order to control display sequence on the public page (lower numbers appear first).

Member dropdowns across the site (event registration, login pickers, member lookups) are served from a daily cache of the NSD/ClubExpress roster. Use this to confirm the sync is reachable and working — it pulls every active nation now and reports per-nation results.

If a nation fails (e.g. NSD is down), subscribers to the ⚠ NSD Roster Sync Failed action in Notification Manager are emailed.

Controls whether profile auto-fill on /member-portal consults the live NSD/ClubExpress API first or the local cache first.

NSD live (default): tries ClubExpress, falls back to cache on failure. Freshest data (live address / email / phone) but slow when NSD is flaky — every page load pays a ~1–2s timeout before the cache fallback kicks in.

Local cache: serves from the local nsd_roster_cache (kept fresh by the daily sync above). Fast + works during NSD outages. Trade-off: profile auto-fill loses live address / email / phone since the cache doesn't store those for privacy — the kid-name picker still works.

Note: tribe + member dropdowns (login, EventRegister) are already cache-only and unaffected by this toggle.
